Introduction to Vis-à-Vis Workshops

Even if a short description of our activities and achievements will indoubtedly fail to convey our intentions and aims, and hoping meanwhile to having one day the pleasure of meeting you and thus having the opportunity of being more explicite, here is a list of what we currently do :

- We are a publishing house with a catalogue of about 8O items (artists’ books as well as general literature). - We organise an annual meeting of artists’books publishers.

- We launched a project of a Conservatoire of Arts and crafts of printing…

- …as well as the one of an International School for the learning and the practising of creative books. -

We started an international Collection of artists’ Books. We are a general producer of cultural manifestations (in 2008 we will be associated with La Baleine qui dit vagues” a Theater for the tale-tellers, for the organisation of a second event dealing with books and the crafts involved ( envent called “Livres au long cours”).
